This is not just yet another website to complain about your ISP. ;)
This is a website dedicated to technical issues with your ADSL connection.
Having been active on my ISP's forum I understand that there is alot of confusion among ADSL users as to how fast a speed they can expect from their ADSL lines given their distance from the exchange and line quality.
If your ADSL modem/router doesn't plug directly into your master line box, then there are some things you can do in your house to improve your line quality and therefore your line speed. One of the most important things to do is to install a proper extension cabling rather than using a cheap phone extension cable. Even if you don't have any speed issues it's nice to have a proper and neat extension cabling.
I'll try to explain on this website what you can do and, of course, how to do it.
